It is increasingly common that modern integrated circuits are only available in SMD packages. In most cases, the manufacturer offers development kits for developing applications with such integrated circuits, with the price often reaching several hundred euros.
I encountered this problem when I was experimenting with the TAS5760M integrated circuit. I didn't feel like investing €200 in a development kit for an uncertain project, so I designed this adapter, which allowed me to experiment on a breadboard. With a little care, the SMD integrated circuit can be soldered onto the PCB, and two rows of pin headers allow the adapter to be connected to the breadboard, and the experiments could begin!
All of the necessary files to produce the printed board for the adapter can be found in the download section.
